This weekend I went to the first 'Social Hiking' hiking and camping social meetup at Monsal Head  in the Peak District. The tweetup had been planned for some time although originally the gathering of like minded folks for a weekend social was meant to take place somewhere on the Jurassic Coast. Indeed it was to be a jointly arranged jolly by two Twitter buddies of mine Phil , the man behind Social Hiking - ShareYourAdventure.com  and Gareth, the public face of Webtogs. However due to work commitments Gareth was unfortunately  unable to attend and Phil, not wanting to miss a great opportunity for a weekend of outdoor fun with friends decided to informally ask if anyone would be interested in meeting up anyway. The following blog is my account of the resulting fun filled weekend.

How To Find And Manage @audioboo Rss Feeds From A #Tag Search.

Finding and managing rss feeds on Audioboo using Podkicker.

As I am sure you are aware by now my preferred method of blogging is to use audio rather than text. This is because I do all my blogging from my smartphone and recording my thoughts in an audio app such as Audioboo makes things simpler for me and hopefully gives you, the 'listener', a different way to experience a blog.

However I also listen to a lot of audio podcasts too, especially from Audioboo.fm and one of the problems I had was trying to find a way to collect all the audio feeds I am interested in into one easily manageable mobile app! I used the ever present Google at first with their Google Reader app, but found it too limited in functionality, especially for managing audio rss feeds.
